SPOTLIGHT: Mobile VPN for Milwaukee ambulances

Bell Ambulance has enlisted NetMotion Wireless to provide data roaming and wireless VPN connectivity for its fleet of more than 40 ambulances in Milwaukee. Bell already has outfitted its EMTs and paramedics with tablet computers for filling out electronic care reports that are synchronized with dispatch and billing systems. The new technology will allow the users to view existing records across the city. Press release
