Honeywell HomMed is teaming with eDevice of Bordeaux, France, to expand data communications capabilities for its LifeStream remote patient care system and Genesis DM telehealth monitor. eDevice communication terminals and modules will facilitate automated, secure data transfer of medical records and patient vital signs between healthcare facilities and patients' homes for continuous patient monitoring, the companies say.
