SPOTLIGHT: Philips expanding home monitoring in Europe

Dutch Philips Electronics is teaming with the largest health insurer in the Netherlands (yes, Europe has private health insurance, too) on a five-year program to invest an unspecified amount in home monitoring technology in the Dutch market. The pilot program could eventually be expanded across Europe to help reduce the length of hospital stays.
