Is the iPad a tablet or just an oversized iPod Touch?

I guess the question is, do you really want "hundreds of gigs of data" raoming the hospital floors on a mobile unmanaged platform. An iPad running a thin client solution keeps the important data secure in a hospital's managed datacenter environment.

Do not forget though that the iPad does HD video unlike the iPhone or touch. Think about applications of that e.g. displaying x-rays, etc.
