CDC is looking for a few good flu apps
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention wants developers to come up with some solid technology-enabled ways to augment its public health efforts. The solution can be a smartphone app, website, or other tech-based product that helps educate the public about flu, and help consumers prevent or treat the condition The prize: $15,000. Winners will have to be willing to make the app available to the public for free for at least one year after the contest is over, CDC officials say. Website
