Once an upstart, Google's open-source Android operating system has grown into a formidable player in the world of smartphones. And with the growth in its user base has come a flood of apps. While the quantity of apps available in the Android Market isn't in the same league as what iPhone users can find in the Apple App Store, the quality certainly is there.
